We bring scale modelers together to enhance their skills, display their work, and enjoy the hobby with like-minded enthusiasts. We hold monthly meetings and present an annual contest and convention complete with awards and vendors. Our members have over a century's worth of combined model building experience - seminars covering the latest techniques and tools are regular part of our meetings. Sounds like fun? Join us!
Build Nights
In addition to our regular meetings, each month features one or more build nights where members get together at a local restaurant or community center and work on their projects. Have some fun and get tips from your fellow modelers, what can be better?
ROCON
ROCON is a model contest and convention, typically held in September, hosted by ROC CITY Scale Modelers in Rochester NY. Hundreds of superbly crafted scale models compete for prizes in over 65 categories, including juniors. The hall is filled with vendors offering the latest products and hard to find items. It's Scale Model Building Nirvana!
